What are the differences between a physical and a virtual card?

Your Hero payment card comes in two versions:

Physical card: You’ll receive it within 5 to 8 business days and can use it for all types of payments.
As soon as you order the physical card, its virtual version is activated in your app, allowing you to use it immediately with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or for online purchases.

Virtual card: Fully digital, it cannot be used for in-store payments with a PIN code or contactless.
However, it works perfectly for online payments and with Apple Pay or Google Pay.

If you initially chose a virtual card and later want a physical one, you can order it from your dashboard or the HERO mobile app.
You may then choose to keep the virtual card or deactivate it if you no longer need it.
